Bitumen Cutback - MC 70
The cutback bitumen is homogeneous and will not foam (as observed visually) when heated to application temperature.
The various grades of cutback bitumen (medium curing type) conform to requirements prescribed below:
Grade: MC-70
MS159 : 1994 specification for cutback Bitumen for use in the Construction and/or maintenance of pavement (First Revision).
REQUIREMENTS for use in pavement construction and/or maintenance
Uses - Priming of all non-bituminous road buses, provision of temporary surfaces (deviations)
Application Rate - From 0.6 litre per m² to 1.2 litre per m²
Spraying / Application Temperature - 60 - 80°C
Conversion:
Cleaning of hands & tools - Use paraffin
